Interaction rate
The interaction rate shows how many likes and comments a post gets relative to its views.
Unlike the engagement rate, it relates interactions to the people who actually saw a post. It therefore doesn't depend on how many followers a post was shown to, and it compares better between large and small channels. We recommend it as the main interaction metric.
Calculation
Example: A reel gets 4,200 likes and 180 comments at 110,000 views. The interaction rate is (4,200 + 180) ÷ 110,000 = 4.0%.
