Reach and impressions

Reach counts how many different people saw a piece of content. Impressions count how often it was displayed in total.

If one person sees a post three times, they count once towards reach and three times towards impressions. Impressions are therefore always at least as high as reach. Both values are usually only available in the channel's insights. Publicly visible are views or plays, which each platform counts differently.

Example

A story is displayed 30,000 times and seen by 22,000 different accounts. Impressions are 30,000 and reach is 22,000.
